I’ve always believed in making mindful, sustainable choices, especially when it comes to waste. Whether it was old clothes, electronics, plastic, paper, or even unused medicine, I found ways to recycle and repurpose by connecting with the right organizations.

But kitchen waste? That was a whole different story.

I tried manual composting at home, but it quickly became clear—it just wasn’t practical. It was time-consuming, messy, and nearly impossible to manage in a compact urban home. Between the stinky bins and leaky plastic bags, it felt like more hassle than help.

That’s when the idea for Earthit started to take shape.

I imagined a smart, simple way to handle kitchen waste—automated, fast, and mess-free. Something that fits into modern life, for people who care about the planet but don’t have hours to spend composting.

With Earthit, I’m turning a daily frustration into a clean, sustainable habit—and helping others do the same.
